This is the Signature Guitar of a very special Member of the Ernie Ball Family... John Petrucci, former member of the Progressive Rock/Metal Band DREAM THEATER, who is Ernie Ball Music Man Endorser since more than 10 years now.
The MUSIC MAN JPX 6 has some changes in comparison with the previous Models for the 10th Anniversary of Collaboration with MUSIC MAN and John Petrucci.

The Ernie Ball Music Man JPX 6 has a biger Body than the previous John Petrucci Signature Models, the upper horn is slightly thinner and the bigest Change is the chambered Body. That gives you an an louder unplugged sound, more overtones and an diferent feeling while playing. You will feel every Note resonating on the Body.
The chambered Body is made of a combination of Alder and Mahogany (Toneblock). Also the new DiMarzio John Petrucci Signature Pickups, LiquiFire & Crunch Lab, were already loaded.

The ERNIE BALL MUSIC MAN John Petrucci JPX 6 is also loaded with the Custom John Petrucci Music Man® Piezo floating tremolo, wich sounds great and holds the tune perfectly.
In exchange of the Regular 3-Way-Switch for Pickupselection and the Push-Pull Poti, you will get an classical 5-Way-Switch.
